A healthy attitude about life and the trials you face give you a healthy outlook and put you in the driver seat. Otherwise, you will be living in default and reacting to negativity around you. This post helps you change the status quo as well!

A healthy attitude makes a huge difference in your ability to make wise decisions that

(1) affect how proactive you are in being responsible for your own life

(2) how you engage yourself in society affects how you fit into society

(3) and the position you place yourself because of your decisions and the rewards or consequences you receive.

Did you catch what I just said? Let me break this down for you:

*Attitude makes a difference in how proactive you are in choices that you make and whether you are living in default or sitting in the driver’s seat of life.

*Sitting in the driver’s seat means you make YOUR OWN decisions about how you respond to events instead of letting what happens drag you down.

*Living in default means that, instead of changing your bad attitude and accept the lessons gained from the situation, you go to the same place you always go to when you don’t like what life dishes out to you: that being you become angry with God, your parents, your employer or anyone you think has it better than you.

*Living in default means, instead of realizing that life sometimes gives out doses of misfortune to everyone and you are no different or that you choose to think you are singled out and punished for some reason, you just throw up your hands and give up! A person sitting in the driver seat does none of these things.

*Living in default means you blame people for what they have that you do not but want, rationalizing that they had better opportunities than you. Of course you do not know that, in fact, what you believe is true and yet you expect them to help — believing you are entitled to receive their help because they live better than you.

*Sitting in the driver’s seat means you take responsibility for the decisions you make, instead of forcing someone to make decisions for you because you can’t or won’t do it yourself.

*You know you are living in default when people keep telling you what to do and how to live your life.

*People keep getting into your business because they see that you are not in control of your life.

*Your actions prove that you are not in control of yourself and unable to manage life on your own, so they make decisions for you.

* If you want people to get out of your life then start taking responsibility for your choices and put yourself in the driver seat of your life.

You must commit to changing your situation and making better decisions or nothing will change for you. Can you make that commitment? If you can, you need to change your associations and hang out with those who live the way you want to be. These association will be your support system and a good example for you to follow.

This is another evil global plot to take away our guns, but it is very sneaky –That’s the only way they can get away with it.

Globalists just won’t give up on their goal to disarm America. That means there is a reason they want our guns, and that can’t be good.

SOMETHING YOU MAY NOT KNOW THAT IS HAPPENING Who is buying companies, manufacturing guns ?????

For the last several years a company called The Freedom Group has been buying up gun and ammunition manufacturers.

Some of the companies are Bushmaster, Marlin, Remington, DPMS, Dakota Arms and H&R. Some people worry that this Freedom Group is going to control most of the firearms companies in the United States.

If you control the manufacturers you can decide to stop selling to civilians. What a perfect way to control guns. Now if you do some digging you will see that The Freedom Group is owned by a company called Cerberus Capital Management.

A very large privately owned LLP with assets of $13 billion. The company is named after the three headed dog that guards the gates to hell. [Nice touch?] Guess who controls Cerberus??? GEORGE SOROS !!!!!!!!! One of the most evil men on this planet who wants to restrict or ban all civilian guns.

Please pass this on to all your freedom loving friends. This needs to come out. Why have we not heard about this in the “mainstream” media? I would think this would be BIG news. (Soros also owns Progressive Insurance)

It appears that we are being conned by the public school system and the governmental Department of Education. I think it's fair to say that since government has taken over public education, our students are coming out dumber than ever before in history.

I want to give you a message of hope, a message with solutions, and a message with suggestions that help you positively affect those things that matter to you. I can do all of that with this website, but first you need to accept some principles you may never have thought of before.

I want to give you a message of hope, a message with solutions, and a message with suggestions that help you positively affect those things that matter to you. Some principles you may never have thought of before, which is helpful to consider now.

What you consider now might challenge the way you think and feel about your life in the future and challenge the status quo you’ve lived in for so long.

Likely, you will realize that your past thinking, past attitude, past habits and reactions have created the status quo that’s challenging you to consider now. Up to this point, you hadn’t considered how your life is working out for you and if it’s the way you’ve wanted.

My job is to help you challenge status quo and try to push you out of your comfort zone! A change in attitudes changes how you approach life, work, and daily activities. Perhaps it’s time to risk taking a different approach to these activities?

Relax, you won’t be asked to do anything you can’t do or don’t want to do. This has to be about what YOU want and what YOU feel is important for your own happiness and peace of mind. You have my support if you want it, so let me help you make the changes you need to make to accomplish your goals.

Are You In Default or In the Driver’s Seat?

First, consider that it doesn’t matter whose fault it is or if you are dissatisfied with life’s situations and the problems — it is what it is. What you need to do is accept things as they are and find a way to deal with it in a manner that you can accept.

Second, consider that your attitude about life’s events affect the habits you develop and what you get back from life.

In general, a positive attitude reaps positive responses from people with whom you interact on a daily basis.

Life gives back what you reflect in your expectations.

A negative attitude reaps negativity from people around you and a negative response from life.

A healthy attitude makes a huge difference in your ability to make wise decisions,

affecting how proactive you are in engaging yourself in life,

and affecting the position you place yourself because of choices you make and the consequences you receive.

Did you catch what I just said? Let me break this down for you.

Attitude makes a difference in how proactive you are in choices you make, and whether you are living in default or sitting in the driver’s seat of life.

Sitting in the driver’s seat means you are making your own decisions instead of waiting for something to happen and then let it drag you down.

Instead of looking at your attitude and accepting the lesson you can learn from a bad situation, you go to the same place you always go to when you don’t like what life dishes out to you: being angry with God, your parents, your employer or anyone you think has it better than you.

Living in default means that, instead of realizing life sometimes hands out doses of misfortune to everyone and you are no different or think you are singled out for some reason, you just throw up your hands and give up!

You develop a bad attitude toward those who have a better life than you when you live in default instead of being proactive.

You blame people for what they have that you don’t and want, rationalizing that they had better opportunities than you without knowing if that is really true, and then expect them to help you out because they live better than you.

Sitting in the driver’s seat means that, instead of forcing someone to make decisions for you because you can’t or won’t, you make your own decisions and take responsibility for them.

Dave did a beautiful post on Mother’s Day that I want to share with you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Thank you Dave for your thoughtfulness.

I just want to tell you all…
Happy Mother’s Day and may the Lord bless you all always in all ways. xo -Dave

My mom is so sweet, and loving, everyone who knows her is surely blessed. She is a comic genius, a political brain, an awesome cook, a kind friend, a caring Grandma…not to mention a jazz artist, painter, poet and local radio personality. But to me, she is mom, my loving sweet and caring mom!!

I thought it might be interesting to look at a little history of Mothers Day… Let’s go!

Mother’s Day, like so many holidays is very old and the earliest Mother’s Day celebrations seemingly come from ancient Greece.

Though the meaning and celebration have over the eons changed from the way we celebrate now.

In the 1600′s, early English Christians celebrated a day to honor Mary, Christ’s Mother. Later it was expanded to include all Mothers and celebrated on the 4th Sunday of Lent and titled “Mothering Sunday” to honor all the mothers of England. At this time England’s poorest worked as servants for the wealthy. As most jobs were located far from their homes, servants lived at the houses of their employers. On Mothering Sunday, servants were given the day off and encouraged to return home to spend the day with their mothers. A special mothering cake, was often brought along to provide a festive touch. Over time, this tradition slowly became forgotten.

In the United States, Mother’s Day was loosely inspired by the British day and was first suggested after the American Civil War by Julia Ward Howe. Howe (who wrote the words to the Battle hymn of the Republic) was horrified by the carnage of the Civil War and the Franco-Prussian War and so, in 1870, she tried to issue a manifesto for peace at international peace conferences in London and Paris (it was much like the later Mother’s Day Peace Proclamation).

During the Franco-Prussian war in the 1870s, Julia began a one-woman peace crusade and made an impassioned “appeal to womanhood” to rise against war. She composed in Boston a powerful plea that same year (generally considered to be the original Mothers’ Day proclamation*) translated it into several languages and distributed it widely. In 1872, she went to London to promote an international Woman’s Peace Congress. She began promoting the idea of a “Mother’s Day for Peace” to be celebrated on June 2, honoring peace, motherhood and womanhood. In the Boston Mass, she initiated a Mothers’ Peace Day observance on the second Sunday in June, a practice that was to be established as an annual event and practiced for at least 10 years.

The day was, however, mainly intended as a call to unite women against war. It was due to her efforts that in 1873, women in 18 cities in America held a Mother’s Day for Pace gathering. Howe rigorously championed the cause of official celebration of Mothers Day and declaration of official holiday on the day. She held meetings every year at Boston on Mother’s Peace Day and took care that the day was well-observed. The celebrations died out when she turned her efforts to working for peace and women’s rights in other ways. Howe failed in her attempt to get the formal recognition of a Mother’s Day for Peace. Her remarkable contribution in the establishment of Mother’s Day, however, remains in the fact that she organized a Mother’s Day dedicated to peace. It is a landmark in the history of Mother’s Day in the sense that this was to be the precursor to the modern Mother’s Day celebrations. To acknowledge Howe’s achievements a stamp was issued in her honor in 1988.

It should be well to remember that Howe’s idea was influenced by Ann Marie Reeves Jarvis, a young Appalachian homemaker who, starting in 1858, had attempted to improve sanitation through what she called “Mothers Friendship Day”. In the 1900′s, at a time when most women devoted their time solely on their family and homes, Jarvis was working to assist in the healing of the nation after the Civil War. She organized women throughout the Civil War to work for better sanitary conditions for both sides and in 1868 she began work to reconcile Union and Confederate neighbors. Ann was instrumental in saving thousands of lives by teaching women in her Mothers Friendship Clubs the basics of nursing and sanitation which she had learned from her famous physician brother James Reeves, M.D. In parts of the United States it was customary to plant tomatoes outdoors after Mother’s Work Days (and not before).

It was Jarvis’ daughter, Anna Jarvis, who finally succeeded in introducing Mother’s Day in the sense as we celebrate it today. Anna graduated from the Female Seminary in Wheeling and taught in Grafton for a while. Later she moved to Philadelphia with her family. Anna had spent many years looking after her ailing mother. This is why she preferred to remain a spinster. When her mother died in Philadelphia on May 9, 1905, Anna missed her greatly. So did her sister Elsinore whom she looked after as well. Anna felt children often neglected to appreciate their mother enough while the mother was still alive. Now, she intended to start a Mother’s Day, as an honoring of the mothers. In 1907, two years after her mother’s death, Anna Jarvis disclosed her intention to her friends who supported her cause wholeheartedly. So supported by her friends, Anna decided to dedicate her life to her mother’s cause and to establish Mother’s Day to “honor mothers, living and dead.” She started the campaign to establish a national Mother’s Day. With her friends, she started a letter-writing campaign to urge ministers, businessmen and congressmen in declaring a national Mother’s Day holiday. She hoped Mother’s Day would increase respect for parents and strengthen family bonds.

As a result of her efforts the first mother’s day was observed on May 10, 1908, by a church service honoring Late Mrs. Reese Jarvis, in the Andrews Methodist Church in Grafton, West Virginia, where she spent 20 years taking Sunday school classes. Grafton is the home to the International Mother’s Day Shrine. Another service was also conducted on the same date in Philadelphia where Mrs. Jarvis died, leaving her two daughters Anna and Elsinore. So it was more of an homage service for Mrs. Reeves Jarvis than a general one conducted in honor of motherhood. Nevertheless, this set the stage for the later Mother’s Day observances held in the honor of motherhood.

From there, the custom caught on — spreading eventually to 45 states. The first Mother’s Day proclamation was issued by the governor of West Virginia in 1910. Oklahoma celebrated it in that same year. It stirred the same way in as far west as the state of Washington. And by 1911 there was not a state in the Union that did not have its own observances for Mother’s Day. Soon it crossed the national boundary, as people in Mexico, Canada, South America, China, Japan and Africa all joined the spree to celebrate a day for mother love.

The House of Representatives in May 1913 unanimously adopted a resolution requesting the President, his cabinet, the members of both Houses and all officials of the federal government to wear a white carnation on Mother’s Day. On May 7,1914, a resolution providing that the second Sunday in May be designated Mother’s Day was introduced by Representative James T. Heflin of Alabama and Senator Morris Sheppard of Texas. It passed both Houses on May 9, 1914.

“Arrangement in Grey and Black” aka Whistler’s Mother“

In 1934 Postmaster General James A. Farley announced a stamp to commemorate Mother’s Day. The stamp featured this famous painting.

The painting was a portrait of the mother of James Abbott McNeill Whistler, an English artist. It was brought into the United States as part of an exhibit in the year 1934.

Regardless of the pros and cons of the commercialization of this day, Mother’s Day continues to be one of the most commercially successful U.S. occasions. According to the National Restaurant Association, Mother’s Day is now the most popular day of the year to dine out at a restaurant in the United States. The occasion is now celebrated not so much with flags as with gifts, cards, hugs, thank you’s and other tokens of affection. While many countries of the world celebrate their own Mother’s Day on different days and at different times throughout the year, there are some countries such as Denmark, Finland, Italy, Turkey, Australia, and Belgium which also celebrate Mother’s Day on the second Sunday of May. In some countries, the appreciation lasts for two days.

This is one day, we can all get behind someone… Mom, we love you!

Do You Have An Emergency Evacuation Plan?

We should all have some sort of evacuation plan in place should a crisis or an emergency unfold in our areas.

What plans have you made with your family that will meet whatever challenge comes your way? Perhaps you believe that there is nothing you can do so you just wait and let whatever happens happen.

The more prepared you are for an event, the easier it will be on you and all your family. It will be easier on your neighbors and community as well when you are prepared. Anything you do now will only benefit you in a crisis.

You need to put aside some money for emergency gas, food, and shelter.

You need some blankets and a change of clothing stored in a box or a backpack for emergencies.

You need to store a three day supply of water and food (or food bars) that contain stomach fillers and nutrients that will last for at least 72 hours.

You need to store small games or a deck of cards for taking off the edge of the emergency or crisis.

There are many reasons you may need to evacuate without much or any warning so it’s a good idea to have important things ready to carry with you; remember that you may need to walk and not have access to a vehicle.

Important papers and pictures are vital to take with you if you have to evacuate.

Also important is medication and first aid supplies as well.

Please sit down with your family and have a serious talk with them. Make plans that every family member will understand and remember so all are familiar with what to do in case of an emergency and evacuation. Make sure family members who don’t live with you know your plans as well so they don’t worry about you in an emergency.

Below is an article that Glenn Beck wants you to read. I’ve been adamant about preparing ourselves and families with books, food, and supplies. That’s why I am setting up stores to help you prepare for emergencies. ***************************************************************************************************************************

Emergency Evacuation Plans from Stratfor

Monday, Mar 21, 2011 at 4:56 PM EDT

The Glenn Beck Program recommends the article below so you and your family can properly prepare for a crisis like what is happening in the Middle East and, to a lesser extent, Japan.

Above the Tearline: Emergency Evacuation Plans

Vice President of Intelligence Fred Burton examines the importance of having an emergency evacuation plan in light of the unrest in Bahrain and the disaster in Japan.

Editor’s Note: Transcripts are generated using speech-recognition technology. Therefore, STRATFOR cannot guarantee their complete accuracy. The recent political instability in Bahrain, on the heels of the nuclear disaster in Japan, highlights the need to have an emergency plan in place before you need it.

A basic plan consists of three critical factors, the first being a prearranged rendezvous point for family or loved ones.

The second factor is a communications plan in the event of cell phone tower failure; one of the tools you can utilize is a satellite telephone, which enables you to communicate outside the affected area whenever your cell phone coverage and Internet is out.

The third factor is having a primary and secondary route of escape. When looking at primary and secondary evacuation routes, geography is going to be critical. You need to think about your means of escape when, for example, your primary route may be taken out, due to things such as a tsunami.

Your secondary means of escape can include either roads or trains, as well as many other global providers that you can subscribe to that will actually come and assist you in those kinds of events. These service are usually fee-based, and you usually have to sign up beforehand, but these services can aid you in getting out of the disaster zone either by air, road or by backpack if need be. They can also provide medical assistance if you are injured.

In a politically unstable environment, such as Bahrain on March 15, it is very important for you to have good intelligence as to what is taking place. Good intelligence will provide that tripwire and will enable you to make the decision to depart the affected area before it is too late.

You can stay abreast of good intelligence by monitoring the local news and radio, websites such as STRATFOR, as well as any sources you may have in the local community that are linked to the government that may help understand what could be taking place.

For example, many of our readers, as well as many of our multinational clients, were able to reposition many of their personnel and assets out of Bahrain by monitoring our very detailed analyses as to what was taking place. The “Above the Tearline” aspect of emergency action plans is: Don’t expect your government or your company to help you for 48 to 72 hours. Make a plan for yourself and know when it is time to execute it and get out. ——–

Witness to Obama Election Fraud?

July 25, 2010

The question is asked, “The press was given this, Why didn’t the press cover it? It’s called This Chicago brand of politics came into the caucus states is something new and it set a new precedence that we have to change.

DOJ Attorney Testifies on Voter Intimidation Case: FoxNews.mp4

July 07, 2010
Megyn Kelly interviews Ashley Taylor, a member of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. They explore the racist guidelines that have been handed down regarding the DOJ’s refusal to prosecute the Black Panthers’ Philadelphia Voter Intimidation case that was dismissed by the DOJ. Their argument was the facts and law don’t support the Black Panther case. According to The Washington Times, Associate Attorney General Tom Perrelli, the No. 3 official in the department, was responsible for the decision. J. Christian Adams resigned his position as a result of the improper handling of the case by Eric Holder and the Obama Administration. Mr Adams told FOX News that Thomas Perez, assistant Attorney General, provided false testimony to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights.

Why Hillary Clinton Loses ALot Of Close Elections In The Primary Against Barack Obama, CAN ANYONE SAY ACORN?!!!!!! Lou Dobbs nails Barack Obama connection to the Accorn voter registration fraud!

Yes, this video came from 2008 but it shows the history of campaign fraud. It appears that this type of election fraud is what we have to look forward to in the 2012 election for President. It ticks me off that our most sacred part of Democracy is being hi-jacked by this man.
